The holidays are a great time to snuggle up with a warm glass of hot cocoa and watch a holiday movie with your family. We will be doing that especially often during the pandemic holiday season. Elf is one of the many great holiday movies. It is a comedic Christmas themed movie that takes place in the North Pole/ New York. The movie is centered around december. It begins with a flashback of a baby in an orphanage on christmas eve. The baby crawls into santa’s bag and winds up in the North Pole. No one knew his name but his diapers said “buddy” so that’s where he gets his name. Buddy is raised by papa elf being told he is an elf. Buddy felt different because he was larger and slower than the other elves… until he finds out he is human. He leaves the North Pole and heads to New York in search of his dad and the only things that he has is a picture of his mother and information from Santa Claus. While in New York he has so many crazy adventures and meets his dad, a girl named josie, his dads new family, and he even gets a job. My favorite character is buddy because it gives me a good laugh watching him navigate city life. This movie makes me feel happy and ready for christmas! It really can put a smile on everyones face because there is so many great parts. One of my favorite part’s is when he put’s syrup and candy on his spaghetti. I would definitely recommend this movie if you like to have a good holiday laugh! In fact it has a very signifigant meaning to me and my brothers because we have been watching it since our childhood! I have a clip attached of a funny scene in the movie. I hope that you will enjoy the experience of watching this movie soon. Happy Holidays!!!
