Covid-19 Makes its Changes to Thanksgiving

Carey Drissel, Reporter

When you think about Thanksgiving, you think of lots of food and big family gatherings. This year is a little different. The governors are urging everyone to stay home this Thanksgiving and keep the gatherings within the household.  If you are gathering with family, they are suggesting it only be about 10 people. It’s also suggested to keep the gathering with only the people you see often. We are finding that a lot of the Covid-19 cases are rising because of family gatherings, so they don’t want huge gatherings. My family was going to go to close families house for Thanksgiving, but decided to stay home and stay safe with our own feast. My Great Grand-Mom also lives with us, so we would rather be safe than sorry.
