“We can’t become what we need to be by remaining what we are” – Oprah Winfrey

Oprah has earned many awards and many honors, but what she does isn’t about the awards or the honors, it’s to help and inspire the world. Many people would say she’s the most influential woman in the world. The Oprah Effect was a big thing she did, “The Oprah Effect refers to the colossal commercial influence and power of Oprah Winfrey on a product’s commercial future. … “The Oprah effect is an expression referring to the effect that an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show, or an endorsement by Oprah Winfrey, can have on a business.” that even helped president Obama get elected. Oprah was presented in TIME magazine 100 most influential people over 10 times! She has made generous contributions to charitable organizations and institutions such as Morehouse College, the Harold Washington Library and the United Negro College Fund. Oprah has been ranked the richest African-American of the 20th century, the greatest black philanthropist in American history, and is one of few black billionaires in North America. She did not do any of the things she did for fame, she did it because she doesn’t want anyone to fail, anyone can be great you just need to work and never give up on what you want, never be afraid to fail failure teaches you and helps you grow. One of her most famous quotes was “Think like a queen. A queen is not afraid to fail. Failure is another stepping stone to greatness.”
