The Dangers of the Australia Wildfires

Sophia Barats and Mary Wright, Authors

Lately, New South Wales and Victoria of Australia have been affected worse by the wildfires that have been spreading. Just one fire has destroyed over 2000 houses, causing thousands of people to find shelter. A lot of the wild animals that live in Australia, like kangaroos and about 25,000 Koalas, have been on the brink of extinction. Over 1.2 million acres have extended the state of disaster. In South Australia, the Cudle Creek fire has destroyed more than 80 homes in the Adelaide Hills region. The total acres of land affected is 10 million acres. The fires have been caused by lighting strikes and dry vegetation. Humans are sometimes blamed for the fires.
